As promised, some action shots of Daisy's first time out dock jumping this past weekend. I have to admit, I wasn't sure if she'd exactly know "what to do". Yes she loves the water, but would she actually launch herself off the end of a dock? I mean how does she know the water is deep enough? I guess dogs don't really think that far ahead. Well, needless to say she didn't need much coaching. And while she's pretty much obsessed with her orange floaty toy, retrieving it from the water actually seemed to be secondary to just jumping over and over and over...a few times we didn't even throw it. She would just go. Some fun images...look at that air!! Next time we're bringing a cape for these pictures. Click on any pic to see it full size.
And I have to say, this one is my favorite. Look at that form!!?! Legs together, full extension...ears all crazy and flapping. She cracks me up.

At the risk of sounding completely dorky, I am continuing to find something awesome and new that I love about my iphone every day. Yesterday I discovered the joy of visual voicemail and why every phone doesn't have it built in I'm really not sure.
Today I have discovered that I can take pictures from my iPhone and upload them directly to my blog...no downloading or anything. I'm sorry but that is just too cool. Now if I only had more interesting things to take pictures of!! For now my Daisy will have to suffice.
What to do with all those plastic shopping bags you're still getting at the grocery store? A New York artist has the solution! Joshua Allen Harris has come up with some of the most creative street art I have ever seen - animals made out of shopping bags. He positions them over subway street grates and while they don't look like much just lying there, when the train goes by underneath the rush of air brings them alive. How cool are these?!?! This one is called "Air Bear"
